Hey guys, we’ve reached the magic number 200, episode 2-0-0, episode two hundred, numero dos ciento.
I had never thought that one day, I would reach 200 episodes of EMS, seriously. Never.
Welcome amigos y amigas, my name is Milena from www.englishmadesimple.net, and I have been the host of this podcast since episode 0. Yes there is an episode 0… It’s one of my very first episode that took me three months to publish and make public. It was only 10 minutes long
Three months!
I don’t know what I was scared about, you guys are not that scary, you don’t bite. I should’ve started this long time ago! Right?
I want to mark episode 200 by taking this opportunity to recap what we’ve learnt so far with English Made Simple.
To recap means to review.
By the way, if you tend to repeat the word REVIEW a lot, you can replace it with the word Recap.
And that’s what you’ve just learnt in episode 200. You are welcome.
Ok, let’s get real.
First off, this episode was brought to you by me, myself and I. The three amigos.
In the very early days, I started out with episodes such as “Difference between Accents and Pronunciation” I wanted to let you know that you should be focusing on pronouncing the words correctly more than worrying if your accent is ok or not.
I’ve met people with various types of accents. But their English was or is good. I understood them, they didn’t speak in a British accent, in an American accent or a Canadian accent, but they spoke very good English enunciating the words the right way.
That was episode 001.
And then later on, I proceeded with tips for learning English, I also introduced to Phrasal Verbs that was episode 006. I started to receive a flood of emails and message from listeners making requests for episodes. I created episode 018 and 019 to do with the word LOOK and different ways you can use this word.
We also looked at difference between Hear/See and Listen.
