Welcome amigos y amigas, welcome to today’s episode of the English Made Simple show, this is episode number 2-2-0, and with today’s episode I want to teach you about Small talk.

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Milena and I am the host of the English Made Simple show, and you can find me at www.englishmadesimple.net…

This may sound familiar to you… small talk. I’ve covered it in episode 108… about a year ago now. And what I want to do now, is to resurrect it.

I had a listen to this and thought, oh wow – there is just so much value in that episode. I have to re-publish it. Especially for those people who don’t go back in time to listen to my previous stuff. Anyhow, what is small talk?

Here is a quick definition of small talk…. According to Weon Inteligente or the Online Dictionary, small talk is: it is a polite conversation about unimportant matters, especially as engaged in on social occasions.

It’s important to learn how to make small talk if you want to know how to start a conversation with someone.

In this episode I am going to share a technique that’s pretty useful to know when you are going to start making small talk with other people.

Are you ready to hop in to my time machine? Great… let me transport you back to May 2017

Here we go!!!
