Hey guys, you are listening to the English Made Simple show, this is episode number 2-1-0, number two hundred and ten, numero dos cientos diez

Welcome to this special episode of the English Made Simple show, my name is Milena, your host here at English Made Simple, you can find me at www.englishmadesimple.net.

Oki doki amigos y amigas, if you are listening to this show in December of 2018, let me wish you Happy Holidays! It will be two thousand and nineteen soon, the year of Pig, if you follow Chinese Horoscope.

So what are you planning to do in 2019?

Do you have any special wishes?

Do you want to accomplish something new? Learn a new skill maybe?

About the same time last year, I created an episode to welcome the year 2018 and as a gift I created a planner which I use to plan out my year.

It is a simple document that asks you to think about your goals in terms of your career, school, relationships, health or travel.

If you’d like to get a copy of this document, simply visit www.englishmadesimple.net/goals – and when you download it just change the year from 2018 to 2019.

Easy peasy japanesy.

Ok so back to today’s episode.

It’s a quick episode to help you to learn English from home during the Holidays.

In today’s episode, I am going to share with you how we can do this together with English Made Simple.

I understand that most of you like to learn English from home in your own time when it’s convenient for you.

So I’ve created something called Podcast Packs which comprises of three items. This is for you who enjoy listening to the EMS podcast and who are getting a lot of value from listening to it but who also tend to forget what you hear in my episodes. So I created Podcast Packs for you to help you remember the right phrases to say at the right time.

You can choose whether you just need to learn simple phrases to help you start conversations with native speakers or if you wanted to learn something more, such as the phrasal verbs or English expressions and also to learn how to use these in a sentence.

So you can choose between three items. Item number 1 is called “63 Phrases to help you speak English Naturally” – it’s an hour long audio book that you can listen to on the phone. You get the audio in mp3 format plus the phrases to accompany the audio so that it helps you remember the phrases you hear in the audio. Just go to www.englishmadesimple.net/pack for more details about the 63 Phrases To Help You Speak English Naturally Audio book.

The item number 2 is something I call The Podcast Pack, which is another item that’s full packed of value. You will get the compilation of podcast episodes that are related to phrasal verbs and English Expressions plus you will get exercises to help you implement what you learn inside those episodes, put them into practice.

So inside The Podcast Pack you get the audio files, transcripts and exercises about 30 Phrasal Verbs and English Expressions.

Again you can find more details at www.englishmadesimple.net/pack

It’s called The Podcast Pack.

And for the ultimate fans of the English Made Simple podcast, I’ve created the VIP Listener Pack. It comprises of 180+ episodes including transcripts to these episodes, you’ll also get My Teaching Notes and 30 Exercises to help you remember the Phrasal Verbs and English Expressions accompanied by audio. You will get a copy of these exercises with audio, you’ll be guided by me so you won’t feel alone when you are completing the exercises at home.

That is called The VIP Listener Pack. You can find more details at www.englishmadesimple.net/pack

So guys, this will all help you to continue learning from home when it’s convenient by you.

And how about the rest of the people who are battling IELTS. How about those IELTS Warriors.

If you are one of those ‘unlucky’ people who need to do IELTS next year, in 2019 and you are not completely ready for it. I recommend checking out IETLS Online.
It’s a self-paced course, you can prepare for IELTS from home with exercises. By the way, the key to passing IELTS is preparation and lot of it. Lots and lots of practice!

I’ve partnered with the Macquarie University of New South Wales in Australia who offer this online self-paced course that doesn’t cost a lot.

They offer 3 programs – the first one is about a quick preparation or just a refresher in IELTS, it’s called IELTS Express, then they have an IELTS Master program which gives you 260 activities, 500 pages of teaching material, over 5 hours of audio recordings and you’ll also get tips and study strategies in all of the modules inside this program.

The third program they offer is called IELTS Master+ and it is the crème de la crème of what they offer. You will get everything in IELTS Master plus individual assessment and feedback from qualified IELTS instructors.

You can get more details at www.englishmadesimple.net/ieltsonline

And the last thing I wanted to mention before we close out today’s episode for this year is… travelling overseas to study English. If you want to be really bold, if you like a challenge and go completely out of your comfort zone, out of your pyjamas, then how about visiting another country to study English – it could be anywhere in the world, it’s your choice.
There are programs to study English in Canada, Australia or New Zealand. Your choice.

But if you are planning to visit Australia, you can also study English here. You do need a special visa for this, so I recommend you contact Soraya from Tour Studies. Or visit www.englishmadesimple.net/study to get in touch with Soraya who can help you with visa and also to answer any questions you might have about studying in Australia. Don’t forget to mention you heard about Tour Studies from English Made Simple so that you can get the VIP treatment haha

Also, don’t forget to visit www.www.englishmadesimple.net/speak if you wanted to learn more about English pronunciation. This is a video I did on English Pronunciation and the International Phonetic Alphabet.

That’s it amigos y amigas, thank you for joining me in today’s episode and for wrapping up 2018 with some cool things to help you speak English from home.

I wish you an amazing Holiday and a Very Happy New Year!

You’ve been jamming with Milena from English Made Simple – Have an awesome rest of the week, until next time! Hasta la proxima!
