What you should know about Pro Speak:
Pro Speak is about English pronunciation. It helps you speak better English.
I’ve done so many lessons now with various students and have found that there are common mistakes that English learners make.
I wanted to clarify what these mistakes are and fix them forever.
These mistakes you’re making, you’re probably not even aware of them until someone points out. And then you start to blush! Or feel embarrassed.
I don’t think they teach you this in schools.
So I have decided to create a course around these pronunciation mistakes.
It will open your eyes to the English pronunciation.
If you’re struggling with English pronunciation then this course is for you.
It is made up of 3 modules split over 3 weeks.
I’m doing it a bit different this time around!
Last year when I ran the course, we learnt about the symbol ‘Schwa’ in week 3, HOWEVER this year, the module three is going to be about GERUNDS!
Can gerunds help you speak better English?
Yup, yup, yup. Yes, they can!
If you don’t know gerunds are… well you’re going to learn what they are inside Pro Speak.
Here’s a quick snapshot of the course:
In week 1 – You’ll learn three different sounds for pronouncing regular verbs in the past tense. Mispronouncing regular verbs will make you sound unprofessional!
In week 2 – You’ll realise why it’s so hard to understand fast-talking native speakers! There is a grammatical explanation to the way native speakers talk.
In week 3 – this is your bonus week, my padawan. This year, we’re learning about gerunds and prepositional phrases and how it can make you a fluent speaker.
Throughout the course, you’ll get a chance to practice your pronunciation with specific exercises by recording your answers!
Most of my students have busy schedules with families and work, so I wanted to create a course that they can do without any pressure and still be able to do all the exercises and get feedback from me. We will be interacting the whole three weeks.
